The new GCMS-QP2010 is a quadrupole
mass spectrometer which satisfies the highest demands in terms
of sensitivity, flexibility and reliability.
Maximum Sensitivity
The GCMS-QP2010 features newly designed ion optics and an electron
multiplier with conversion dynode detector system including the
new overdrive lens (patent pending) for noise reduction. Together
with the differentially pumped vacuum system (260 x 65 l/sec)
and two-stage quadrupole with pre-rods, unmatched sensitivity
is reached
- Scan mode 1 pg S/N > 60 (RMS) for OFN m/z 272
- SIM mode 100 fg S/N > 60 (RMS) for OFN m/z 272
For highest sensitivity of target compounds and easy identification
of unknowns in the same run, Scan and SIM can be set in one method
file.
Ultimate Flexibility
With the newly designed ion source not only maximum sensitivity
can be reached but it also offers highest flexibility in method
development. All parameters can be set individually for every
sample by the separately heated ion source with its variable
ionization energy and current. The large mass range of the quadrupole
(1.5 to 1024) gives flexibility for a wide range of samples,
important also especially for the analysis of Brominated Flame
Retardants (PBDE´s). In the GCMS-QP2010 all column types
can be installed directly, from narrow-bore for Fast-GCMS to
wide-bore columns for gas analysis.
Reliability
The newly designed injection systems for the new GC-2010 and the
mass stability of the QP2010 lead to highest reproducibility
of your data. Quality and reliability of the results is assured
by the GCMSsolution Ver.2 Software. It offers System check and
QA/QC functions that make it easy to work in a GLP/GMP environment
as well as Audit trail functions and pass word protected user
level assignments.
Shimadzu’s completely redesigned GCMS-QP2010 provides ion-trap
level sensitivity (S/N ratio 1pg OFN of >80), together with
the security of full-scan library spectrum identification. With
a wide mass range of 1.5-1024, scan rates of 50 scans/s at a blistering
10,000amu/s speed and the integral GC-2010, the QP2010 is totally
configured for modern fast-GCMS analyses. Redesigned ion sources
(including a combination EI/CI/NCI source) allow fast & easy
maintenance without compromising on sensitivity. Whatever your
GCMS requirements, the GCMS-QP2010 will exceed them. |
