The TOC-systems TOC-V CSH/CSN and TOC-V CPH/CPN uses the combustion catalytic oxidation and NDIR Method. The 680 °C combustion catalytic oxidation method, that was developed by Shimadzu and subsequently spread around the world, can efficiently analyze all organic compounds.

In addition to the high performance and advanced functions of the TOC-VCSH laboratory model, this ON-LINE TOC-VCSH is equipped with the functionality to perform continuous automatic sampling. It can be used in a wide range of applications to continuously monitor the water used in the pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries, as well as boiler water, mains water, and wastewater.
