Combining the TNM-1 with a TOC-V analyser creates a TOC/TN simultaneous analysis system. As the combustion tube and oxidation catalyst are shared with TOC analysis, maintenance is virtually identical to that of a dedicated TOC unit. Maintenance is simple as no oxidant or other reagent is required. Nitrogen monoxide measured by Shimadzu's tried and tested chemiluminescence method, giving a wide range of 0.1 mg/L to 4000 mg/L.
