Course Objectives
Run in series with the Basic LC Course, the Advanced
LC Training picks up where the basic course leaves
off, and looks more in-depth at factors that affect
a separation and how to optimise them, method development
in both isocratic and gradient modes, how to obtain
reproducible results, as well as basic troubleshooting
and maintenance. A mixed classroom-practical style
is used to emphasise and illustrate points made in
the provided written notes. The course is suitable
for those who have attended the Basic LC Course, those
already involved in LC who would like to develop the
technique further and other research roles (such as
method developers).
Course Prerequisites
Customers will preferably have a good understanding of
HPLC theory or have previously attended the Basic HPLC
Course. This course is not designed for first time
users and will assume previous knowledge of Liquid
Chromatography and HPLC equipment use.

The course duration is one day starting at 9:30am and
closing at 4.30pm.
Course Fees
The course fee is £350 per person plus VAT. Course
certificates will be issued to each delegate. This price
does not include hotel accommodation or transportation.
Fees include refreshments and a buffet lunch.
Course Numbers
Course attendance numbers are restricted to ensure that
everyone on each course receives the best possible
levels of tuition and the appropriate levels of support
during practical sessions. The maximum number of attendees
on this course is ten.
