Course Objectives
This course is open to all industries and will be targeted
at those individuals who are new to the concepts and
the subject of TOC analysis and associated instrumentation.
The basic principles of TOC theory and practical applications
will be explored and explained. The application and
use of TOC equipment and analytical techniques in a
range of industries will also be discussed. Attendees
will be encouraged to participate in the operation
of Shimadzu TOC-V Wet Chemical and TOC-V Combustion
based instruments through straightforward practical
exercises including forming a calibration curve and
performing simple analyses. During the course, routine
user maintenance of TOC-V instruments will be explained.
Course Prerequisites
Customers will preferably have had some exposure to Shimadzu
TOC-V instruments. However, the course is designed
for first time users and will assume no previous knowledge
of TOC analysis.

Course Fees
The course fee is £350 per person plus VAT. Course
certificates will be issued to each delegate. This price
does not include hotel accommodation or transportation.
Fees include refreshments and a buffet lunch.

Course attendance numbers are restricted to ensure that
everyone on each course receives the best possible
levels of tuition and the appropriate levels of support
during practical sessions. The maximum number of attendees
on this course is six.
