Dual gradient system
The dual gradient system (DGS) maximises sample throughput with a minimum of hardware. This system draws on the strengths of the versatile SIL-HT autosampler, offering high speed and low carryover. It provides control of two independent gradient profiles for alternating analysis (offline column regeneration) or staggered gradients for rapid serial injections.
With its dual integral six-port, two-position valves, the DGS significantly increases sample throughput whether by simultaneous column equilibration or stream selection so that only the critical fractions of the separation is directed to the MS. The alternating injection scheme ensures data integrity by injecting all samples from a specific set onto its corresponding column.
