Many companies embrace modern telephone technology with multi level menus and time consuming questions when you try to contact them. At Shimadzu, we believe in personal contact and when you telephone Shimadzu for what ever reason, you will always speak to a Shimadzu staff member directly without a computer or answer machine (1) interceding.
Some companies have their administration centres and support staff in other countries.
Shimadzu’s offices are in the UK and will always remain so for UK customers.
Our goal is “Best in Class” equipment as well as post sales service and support. We will support you and your Shimadzu equipment throughout its working life.

Key to reliable operation is the need for professional and regular preventative maintenance provided by factory trained and certified engineers. Shimadzu UK offers a range of “best fit” maintenance cover plans as well as customisable support for your individual requirements.
Shimadzu's growing team of skilled engineers is geographically best placed to provide responsive service when you require it. We aim to hold 99% of all
consumables and 90% of all service parts at our UK office. Full European stock holdings are only an overnight shipment away in Germany.
Head Office Facilities
Shimadzu’s prestigious offices located in MIlton Keynes include an extensive equipment demonstration showroom, a large fully equipped service workshop and customer conference and training facilities.
User training
Shimadzu offers scheduled training courses at competitive rates for both basic and advanced equipment and software use as well as applications courses designed by our experts to meet your user’s requirements.
(1) During normal working hours, 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays. We operate answering machines for customers wishing to leave messages outside normal working hours.
