Shimadzu offers three maintenance cover plans to suit your business and laboratory needs.

Platinum and Platinum Plus
Shimadzu’s Platinum and Platinum Plus maintenance plans assure complete peace of mind for Shimadzu equipment users. For a single annual payment, all charges for routine preventative maintenance, emergency interventions, travels expenses as well as all service parts are covered by this plan. Budgeting for analytical equipment maintenance couldn’t be easier.

Key benefits:
1. One or two (Plus) annual Preventative Maintenance visits
2. Emergency intervention Labour and Travel charges included
3. Includes all OEM service parts required for Maintenance and Repair
4. 48hr response to site
5. Discount available for multiple system cover
6. Equipment Performance Verification available at extra cost
7. 7.5% discount for all consumables

Gold and Gold Plus
Our Gold and Gold Plus maintenance plans will suit customers who require a fixed commitment with respect to Labour and Travel charges for both routine maintenance visits and for emergency intervention visits. All service parts used during preventative maintenance or emergency intervention visits and all consumables are invoiced separately after each visit.

Key benefits:
1. One or two (Plus) annual Preventative Maintenance visits
2. Emergency intervention Labour and Travel charges included
3. 48 hour response to site
4. Equipment Performance Verification available at extra cost
5. 7.5% discount for all consumables.

Silver and Silver Plus
Shimadzu’s Silver and Silver Plus plans offer one or two (Plus) Preventative Maintenance visit per year. Silver and Silver Plus plans exclude emergency intervention labour and travel cover, however, emergency intervention labour charges are discounted by 33%. Service parts and consumables used during preventative maintenance or emergency interventions visits are not included.

2. 33% discount on labour and travel charges for Emergency interventions
3. Equipment Performance Verification available at extra cost
4. 7.5% discount for all consumables

Whole Life Cover Maintenance Plans
Shimadzu offers Whole Life Cover maintenance plans for most current products.

For a chosen period up to a maximum of five years, Whole Life Cover maintenance plans will ensure all routine maintenance and intervention visit costs, all service parts and all consumable parts are provided in consideration of a single initial payment at the point of sale of the instrument.

This means that all equipment running costs can be capitalised with the instrument purchase or incorporated into a lease/rental plan if required.
