In a preparative system, it is often not ossible to get baseline
resolution of two components that were separated in an analytical
scenario without changing method parameters, such as column
length or mobile phase, both of which are undesirable. Recycling
HPLC offers the best solution to this problem, in a very cost-effective
manner. Fully programmable from the integral keypad and display,
the LC-8A has been designed to offer simple scale-up from nanogram
to gram quantities. With a flow range of 0.1-150ml/min, built-in
pulse compensation is optimised for flows of 0.1-20ml/min,
allowing high reliability analytical LC and high capacity preparative
routines on the same LC system.
