Forensic Toxicology Database for LC-MS/MS
LC-MS/MS Forensic Toxicology Database
For LabSolutions™ LCMS
Forensic Toxicology Database
The Forensic Toxicology Database provides an all-encompassing method including consumables, chromatography, and mass spectrometer acquisition for the analysis of drugs of abuse, hypnotics, psychotropics, pesticides, prescription drugs, novel psychoactive substances, and natural poisons and toxins by LC-MS/MS. This method package is ideal for any lab in industry or academia, working in any analytical toxicological setting.
Saving Time and Resources in Acquisition and Identification
The Forensic Toxicology Database includes both full LC methodology and optimised MS/MS data acquisition parameters, with a fully curated, MRM merged spectrum library database to assist both qualitative and quantitative assays in any scenario, in clinical, industry or academia. The methods provided are developed to be ready-made products that can be used instantly by the laboratory, saving time and resources in method selection, development and optimisation. They can also be modified exactly to the end user requirements, whether this be rapid methods for targeted analysis, or expansive methods for non-targeted screening.
An Expansive Database and MRM Acquisition Method
The methods within are built using two overarching separation conditions, ODS and Biphenyl. Combined, both methods provide spectra on over 2000 compounds of interest in routine analysis, including many of those recommended for testing by organisations and societies within forensic and clinical toxicology testing and regulation. For each compound, multiple MRM transitions are given, allowing the development and validation of high-quality, confirmation and quantification methods. Additional information for researchers and academia, such as monoisotopic mass, RT, CAS number, formula and compound class, are provided to streamline data analysis and interpretation.
A Fully Curated, MRM Merged Spectral Library
The MRM spectral library was developed with certified reference materials analysed at three different collision energies, generating an information-rich merged spectrum. The MS/MS methods, MRM merged spectrum library, LabSolutions Insight Library Screening software, and UFMS capabilities of Shimadzu's LC-MS/MS product line, offers an all-in-one, highly flexible and rapid approach to drug testing for screening, confirmation and quantification.
Method Creation by “Compound List Creation Tool”
